Daddy and the Golden Corral.

Phil always travels a ton during the fall, and this season was no exception. He's been gone part of every week since September, so it's been a long fall for the Tatums. Even Luke was beginning to notice. Desperate for fun, he had started getting creative...

A new approach to playing in the exer-saucer.

One or two toys weren't cutting it anymore. A whole basket full is much better.

Thank goodness, Phil got home Sunday from his LAST trip of the year, and we are so glad! Luke is loving it and keeps looking at Phil with a huge smile and a look on his face like, "You're still here!!" It's the cutest thing. Here are some pictures of the male bonding that's been going on around these parts...

Daddy was making airplane noises with the spoon, and Luke was laughing it up...Mommy was too late with the camera to capture it.

Daddy + prunes + a hungry punkin = a big, cute mess.

Chillaxin' on the couch, watching SportsCenter, and bonding over shared hairdos.

Luke is wondering why Mommy is interfering with guy time.

Playing with Daddy...SO much fun!

And now...
Behold the Golden Corral!

No, it's not really gold, but it's worth gold to me, because it keeps the punkin (Luke, not Phil) contained. No more running to grab him as he reaches for outlets, chews on the window trim, or knocks over the wireless router....and yes, Luke is actually in there, even though you can't see him. This was just the best picture to show you the monstrosity that now resides in our living room...Oh, the things you do for your children....

The boys in their pig pen.

Phil, multi-tasking with the punkin on Daddy's day off.

We love you, Daddy!
