Phil became an old man today. I am so enjoying it. I won't be old until the end of January, so I am milking it for all it's worth. I made sure that Luke was a part of the birthday celebration, because I thought it would be fun. Can you tell I spend the majority of my time hanging out with a 4 month old? Anyway...I made Phil wait to open his presents and blow out his birthday candle until Luke woke up from his nap. I'm glad that I did, because it was so cute to see Luke's reaction. He thought it was so fun when I sang "Happy Birthday", so I sang it twice! He was mesmerized by the candle and looked confused when it was suddenly blown out. He also looked like he REALLY wanted to get his hands on the chocolate cupcake....he's definitely his mama's son!
