My friend Carli told me about a new snack for little guys like Luke. They are called Mum Mums and are the greatest things. They are rice husks, which basically just means that they are puffy rice crackers. The wonderful thing about them is that, although they are crispy and crunchy, they dissolve really quickly. This is a good thing, because when munchkins like Luke bite off a big fat chunk, the chunk dissolves before they can choke on it. Luke absolutely loves them. He feels like such a big boy feeding himself his own little crunchy snack....The bad thing is that after giving him several Mum Mums over the last couple of days, I just discovered that one of their 5 ingredients is skim milk powder. Now I know why he has been spitting up these last couple of days! The poor little guy is lactose intolerant, so I guess he had his last Mum Mum today. Dang it. Oh well. Hopefully you other moms out there can use this info and your milk-tolerating babies can enjoy some yummy rice husks!
(You can buy Mum Mums at Wal-Mart.)

I want to show you my favorite snack. It's called a Mum Mum.

This is how you eat it.

This is what it looks like in your mouth.

And after you finish the first one, there's one more left in the pack!
